Llegó el día

Aquí dejo algunos pensamientos o comentarios que me vienen a la mente

1. Hace 18 años conocí Houston
2. Hace 11 años fui de vacaciones en Semana Santa (recuerdo la Westheimer y la Willowick
3. Fui fan de los Houston Oilers y los Houston Rockets
4. Ahora que me voy, viviré en el centro de una gran ciudad, cuando fui a Chicago me gustaron unos depas del centro, espero que al que llegue sea así
5. Obvio sería mucho más padre la vida en NY. Más glamour... pero Space City es más Mexican
6. Voy con 3 orgullos arraigados, el católico y el mexicano. El primero es vivir en un país donde no es predominante mi religión, me encanta el reto de mostrar el orgullo de mi religión y actuar en TODO como yo lo creo. El segundo es que jamás olvidaré de donde vengo... ah! faltó el tercero pero ese tiene que ver con el orgullo de que le voy a los Cowboys! jajaja
7. Pienso que en Monterrey dejo grandes amigos y grandes proyectos... Pero creo que Dios nos protege y bendice y al final reencontraré el camino en todos los aspectos
8. Creo que en el trabajo lo haré bien y aprenderé a aprovechar al máximo el tiempo

3 Weeks from now, Space City will be my town.

It has been a nice ride over here at Monterrey, with the experiences I needed...

Tons of 'what ifs-questions" arose a few years back when I decided to finish college here and so far so good.

This opened up this opportunity and it is time to go over there, go to the Reliant Stadium, visit the NASA, attend College Football games, cheer on the Rockets, support the Astros.

18 years ago I was in this city, I revisited 12 years ago... seems like it was yesterday, but I do remember, that being a 9 year and a 15 year older... when I watched the highways from the hotel window I said to myself "Will I ever be able to live in a city like this?".

18 and 12 years later, that tought became a reality, I did not really ask for it, but God has its ways.

Here I am, about to take the most important 18-month ride ever.
