Mexican General Election Update

Yesterday, we witnessed a debate that was supposed to determine who was going to be the winner in the July 2 elections. More than a debate it was an opportunity for the candidates to express their ideas and there was very little controversy as they did not want to issue attacks, Felipe Calderón was the only one trying to persuade others into a oral confrontation but it really never happened, most people say that he was the winner of the debate.

Right now every single poll issued by any organism is establishing a "technical tie" that doesn't really clraify things for the mexicans. As they say, the outcome will be a close call for Mr. Calderón or Mr. López Obrador.

The uncertainty of this situation has led to the creation of a number of scenarios that would mess the environment in the country, in every conversation I have had there is an unavoidable conclusion that goes like "Hey you know, we are aware of why Obrador's plan are not affordable, but what about all that people that lacks an education and that is surprised by his "extraordinaire" proposals..."

Mexico is going to be different that day, but my biggest fears are...

What if AMLO wins?
If AMLO loses, will he accept it? What will he do if he doesn't agree with the result?

If Calderón wins, will he break up á la Fox?
